Just next to east side of the Castillo is the Hall of the Frescoes. This building is a long columned hall, one of many at Mayapan, and its back wall is covered with frescoes. The scenes represent human figures standing in profile, richly dressed and elegantly adorned with headdresses, bracelets, earrings and breast-plates, emerging from a green background.
