Definition: The Andronovo culture is an Old World sedentary pastoralist society of the Late Bronze Age. It dates to the latter part of the 2nd millennium BC of central Asia, and covers a wide region, especially in the Altai Region of the former USSR. Preceded by the Afanasievo culture.
