Belkachi Culture

Definition: The Belkachi culture is the named given to a Middle Neolithic culture in the northern Baikal region of Siberia, between 5000-3900 years before the present. Thought by some scholars to be ancestral to the Arctic Small Tool tradition of the North American archaic period (like Pre-Dorset, Denbigh or Norton).
