Chaco Culture

Definition: Chaco culture was one of three three great ancestral pueblo cultures and regional powers of the American southwest in the late prehistoric times (the others were Hohokam and Mimbres regional systems). The heyday of the Chaco culture was between AD 900-1150, and the center of the Chaco culture was Chaco Canyon.
