El Sec (Spain)

Definition: El Sec is the name given to an unknown Punic shipwreck off the coast of Majorca, Spain, 450 BC. The ship was bound for Spain, with a cargo of millstones, ingots, decorated Greek pottery, and grape vine starts when it sank. Excavated in the early 1970s by A. Arribas of the Archaeological Underwater Museum.
