Dzudzuana is an Early Upper Paleolithic rockshelter located in the western part of the Republic of Georgia, 5 kilometers east of the similarly dated Ortvale Klde.
Anglo-Georgian Expedition to Nokalakevi
The village and citadel of Nokalakevi is located on the Colchian Plain, and has occupations dated between the Late Bronze Age through the Medieval period. Excavations at Nokalakevi have been sponsored, in part, by the British Academy Black Sea Initiative, and conduct annual field schools with volunteers.
