Hurrian Culture

By , About.com Guide

Definition:

The Hurrian culture was an Early Bronze Age (third and second millennium BC) culture in Syro-Mesopotamia; most of what we know from them is their language, written in cuneiform, and from excavations at Tell Mozan in Syria, now believed to be the Hurrian capital of Urkesh.
