Meare (UK)

Meare is the name given to two well-preserved Iron Age villages (Meare Village East and Meare Village West, built during the 3rd century BC and located north of Meare, Somerset, on the south bank of the River Brue in the Somerset Levels.

Tollund Man (Denmark)

Tollund Man is the name given to an Iron Age man whose body was recovered in amazingly pristine state from the Bjældskovdal peat bog near Tollund, Denmark; he was killed about 210 BC.

Basel-Gasfabrik (Switzerland)

Bsel-Gasfabrik is a Late La Tene open air settlement, and evidence of one of the earliest settlements in Basel. Discovered in 1911, the site includes at least two cemeteries, and a timber built village.

Danebury (UK)

Danebury is the name of an Iron age hillfort in Nether Wallop, Hampshire, England, built during the 6th century BC. Danebury was a regional center until the 1st century BC, when Roman oppida were established in the area.

Bibracte (Switzerland)

Bibracte is an Iron Age site located on Mont Beuvray in France near Autun.
