Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World
The Center for Old World Archaeology and Art (now the Artemis A.W. and Martha Sharp Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World) was established at Brown University in 1978 to develop and integrate courses in Old World Archaeology and Art, and to serve as a resource center.
