K2 Village

Definition:

K2 Village is an archaeological site located in South Africa, and it is the type site for the K2 culture of the Shashi-Limpopo Basin of Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa, dated to the African Iron Age of 10th and 11th centuries.

Eventually, the K2 village culture developed into the Mapungubwe culture.
