Definition: The Kastri Group is the name given by Aegean scholars to a cultural group of the Early Cycladic period in the Greek islands and Crete, and relatively comparable to the Lefkandi of the Greek mainland at the same time. The Kastri group includes the site of Kastri at Palaikastro on Crete, Liman Tepe in Turkey, and Daskalio Kavos in island Greece.
