Ancient Egypt: Middle Kingdom

The Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt lasted between 2022 and 1650 BC, under the rule of Senwosret, Khendjer, Neferhotep, and Salitis, and with the important archaeological sites of Hierakonpolis, Heracleopolis, Abydos, Dendera, el Kab, and Deir el Ballas.
Hierakonpolis

Abydos Egypt
Abydos is an Early Dynastic city and necropolis in Egypt, built ca 3150 BC by Seti I and sacred to Osiris; it was also important during the Middle Kingdom.
Karnak
