Mojiaoshan (China)

Definition: The archaeological site of Mojiaoshan is part of a Liangzhu complex site at Yuhang in Zhejiang Province, China.

The site consists of a large pounded earth platform covering an area of 300,000 square meters, built during the Chalcolithic period (3300-2000 BC). The top of the mound exceeds 8 meters in height, and has smaller platforms.
