Pueblo Bonito, Chaco Canyon

Located in present-day northwestern New Mexico, Pueblo Bonito was one of many spectacular "Great Houses" built by the Chaco peoples. The massive structure was a four to five-story monumental ruin covering two acres and incorporating about 650 rooms. The exhibition The Ancient Americas tells the fascinating stories of the Chaco peoples and other societies.
