Jeffrey R. Parsons

Definition: Jeffrey R. Parsons is an American archaeologist, one of the pioneer investigators of the use of settlement patterns, most particularly on Aztec period sites in the Basin of Mexico. Long a professor of anthropology and currently Curator of Latin America Archaeology at the Museum of Anthropology at the University of Michigan, Parsons has conducted work in Central Mexico, Peru, and Argentina.
