Piedmont Tradition

Definition:

The Piedmont Tradition is the name given to a group of artifacts recovered from specific Late Archaic sites (4000-1000 years ago) in the Piedmont Mountains of the eastern United States.

Late Archaic people were primarily hunters of game such as deer and collectors of seed and weed plants.
