Pinto Culture

Definition: The Pinto culture is the name archaeologists have given to the people who were living along the Colorado River during the Archaic period. First defined in the 1930s by avid amateur archaeologists William and Elizabeth Campbell, the Pinto culture included a hunter-gatherer lifestyle and thick triangular points.
