Plains Archaic

Definition: The Plains Archaic is the name archaeologists have given to the hunter-gatherers who lived in the American (in the US and Canada) plains between about 5600 BC and AD 500. A brief bibliography of Plains Archaic archaeology journal articles and books has been constructed.
