Heinrich Schliemann, Making a Case for Hasserlik

I made the acquaintance yesterday of Frank Calvert, who shares my opinion that Homer's Troy is none other than Hasserlik (sic).

David Traill's 1995 book about Schliemann and Frank Calvert, Schliemann of Troy, uses this quote from Schliemann's diary that includes a mispelling of the site of Hisarlik to support his claim that Calvert put the notion of Hisarlik into Schliemann's head, as opposed to the other way around.
