David Randall-MacIver [1873-1945]

Definition: British archaeologist David Randall-MacIver was a protege of William Flinders Petrie who spent much of his latter career excavating in Zimbabwe (then known as Rhodesia). He was with Petrie at Abydos in 1899-1901 and conducted excavations at Great Zimbabwe and Khami in 1905, and Inyanga in 1906.
