Maria Reiche [1903-1998]

Definition:

The German mathemetician Maria Reiche landed a teaching job with the German consul to Cuzco Peru in 1932, and two years later moved from Cuzco to Lima. There she met historian Paul Kosok and archaeologist Julio C. Tello and began her life-long investigations of the geoglyphs in the Peruvian desert called the Nasca Lines
