Paul Reinecke [1872-1958]

Definition: German archaeologist Paul Reinecke was a student of Rudolf Virchow's and studied archaeology under Adolf Furtwaengler. He excavated at sites in southern Germany and Austria, such as Hallstatt, and is best known for his chronology of the European Late Bronze Age, particularly the transition to Iron Age.
