Definition: Robert Reynolds is a computer scientist at Wayne State University, who has assisted numerous archaeologists at Ann Arbor (such as Kent Flannery, Joyce Marcus, Tim Kohler, and Robert Whallon) in developing computer simulations of the processes of cultural evolution. Some of the projects he's been involved with include the origins of agriculture in the Valley of Oaxaca, origins of corn function at Gila Naquitz, the development of the llama trade in South America, and other very interesting stuff.
