Definition: The Victorian period British linguist and mythologist John Rhys was named the first Professor of Celtic Studies at Jesus College, Oxford in 1877. He is known among archaeologists for his work comparing Celtic and Indo-European myths and languages. He attributed the similarities between Indian and Irish myths to a direct migration of Indo-European folks out of their homelands during the Bronze Age. Is it true? Hard telling.
