Keeping up with what's going on in archaeology is not necessarily a matter of googling once a week. These scientific news sources often carry archaeology news stories.

American Museum of Natural History
This site often has solid reporting in association with exhibits here and around the world.

BBC News: Science and Technology
The BBC news service nearly always has one or two ongoing stories linked to archaeology.

CNN Science and Space
CNN's website, as you can tell from its title, is pretty heavily oriented on space technology; but they often have archaeology news reports.

Nature's News
The scientific journal Nature often has publicly available news stories about some of the articles that appear in its print pages.

New Scientist
Although you can search for archaeology stories at New Scientist, there are so many cool and unusual stories here, it's a pity to limit your search.

Reuter's News Feed
As one of the big three news syndicates on the planet, Reuters frequently has the latest on archaeological findings around the world.

Science Daily
Only a few archaeology stories make it onto Science Daily; but they certainly do update frequently.

Science Friday
Ira Flatow's Science Friday magazine from the American National Public Radio only has a couple of stories every week; but he frequently has kid-oriented information as well.

Science News at NASA
Not very often updated, still if you want to know what the American National Aeronautics and Space Administration is up to, you gotta visit.

Science News Online
This web site contains news stories you won't find elsewhere, including occasional in depth stories about archaeology-related issues.

Science Now
The news server from the scholarly journal Science magazine; reports on the latest in the pages of the week's journal.

ScienCentral News
ScienCentral's news server often contains stories you won't find anywhere else.

Scientific American
This is a news server, more than anything else, including feeds from the other networks.

The New York Times: Science
The NYT page has several writers, like Gina Kolata and John Noble Wilford, who write great archaeology-related news stories.

Form the University of Wisconsin, a news server specifically for science fans in middle and high schools.
