San Dieguito-Pinto Culture

Definition: The San Dieguito-Pinto Culture is the name given to a collection of early Archaic occupation sites located in the American Southwest and southern California. The San Dieguito folks were hunter-gatherers, and their sites are dated between 6,500 and 200 B.C.
