Santa Luisa (Mexico)

Definition: The archaeological site of Santa Luisa is a multicomponent site located east of El Tajin in the state of Vera Cruz, discovered by S. Jeffrey K. Wilkerson of the Institute for Cultural Ecology of the Tropics in the 1970s. This early Archaic site was one of the first pre-ceramic sites found in the lowland Maya region.
