Definition: Sobiejuchy is a small urnfield cemetery and lakeside village site in central Poland, occupied during the Iron Age between about 750-500 BC. The village is roughly coeval with the better-known Biskupin. Excavators include Zbygniew Bukowski in the 1960s, and most recently Anthony Harding at Durham University in collaboration with Janusz Ostoja-Zagorski at the University of Poznan.
