By , About.com Guide

Definition:

Lung Hoa is a Phung Nguyen culture [2000-1500 BC] site in the Red River Valley of Vietnam, consisting of the earliest known sedentary culture of the interior river valleys of southeast Asia.

Phung Nguyen culture sites are generally wet-rice agricultural villages and cemeteries, ceramics were tempered with rice grains, and there is evidence for fabric weaving, thread spinning, and rope making.
