Archaeology is not only important for me but our society. It’s very essential to preserve our heritage for our next generation, so that they can tell our History to the next generation. Archaeology is a technique to find history through evidence. So my job has been playing an important role.
How did you become interested in this job?
Since my childhood I was very curious about History and Archaeology.
Once I went to a museum with my parents in my childhood where I saw many types of sculptures and another antiquities. I asked my father lots of questions about it. It struck my mind how the people live at that time? what type of civilization was there?. After completing my school final I decided to be an archaeologist. So I did my Master degree in Ancient Indian History And Archaeology.
What is a typical day like for you?
During project work in exploration, where I had gone to explore the archaeological sites in this connection I was passing through a Village. I asked the villagers about archaeological sites they knew about, but they were not ready to help me because I was a stranger. It was a very hot summer and I was very hungry and thirsty. I was at that time looking for help. Once a Old lady came and gave me food and water to drink. Against the villagers she helped me and gave me the exact location an archaeological site. Because of her I found a mound (archaeological site). It's not possible for me to forget this noble lady.
