Aryan Obcession

I accept the idea of an Aryan invasion to the Indian subcontinent was possible. However, mention Aryan ancestry makes me think how this fanatical obcession of the Nazis spearheaded by His Lowliness Heinrich Himmler was the irrational basis for the inhumane slaughter of millions of innocent people. This is what I call national racism gone totally beserk led by a homocidal maniac. There is nothing wrong about being proud of your ethnic origin as long as one does not use it as a yardstick to judge others.

Mingling

From all data I have recieved over the years it seems true that Aryan Invaders came down from eastern caucuses settled in persia and moved further downward to the indus valley. Many traces and evidences prove the same...should not be any doubt...however once these nomads settled and started living in society ,doing agriculture (ofcourse the dravid race was extrremely developed in the same) then did they develop. And finally vishwamitra a brahmin in the court of rama crossed the vindhya mountain range with his disciples to mingle with the other races which even brought more glory and human development reached its peak.

only the 'human' race

There is only 1 race, the human race; which, by the grace of God, includes many shapes, sizes, beliefs and colors. The world will be much better, when we all learn to appreciate, encourage and celebrate human diversity.

I kinda agree but not completely

Everybody came from Africa. Some reached the sub continent long before others and some came later on. Don't know about invasion but the indo-aryans definitely did come to dominate most of the sub continent including countries like Nepal. For this reason even today in Nepal, where most of the population are non indo-aryans and have a different language or mother tongue ,speak the national language nepali which is an indo-European language which originally belongs to the indo-aryans ie brahmins and chettris of Nepal who make around 35% of the population. They have dominated the country in every aspect,be religion, politics, culture, language etc.

I strongly believe this theory, Why because from where these light skinned and fair people came to india in the middle of the Dark Dravidians.

Interesting

I don't know the truth regarding either theory, but I do appreciate the very civil and intelligent debate presented on this site. It's nice to see people disagree without being reduced to name calling, or racial slurs.

aryan

The Aryans are came from central Asia. They are tribal. The critical political situvation, they migrated to india, through, kiber-bolan river channels, and entered into Kasmir valley and stayed permanantly. That time an Indian peoples are worshipping natures. That time they are no-religious people. They un-known about religion. After some time aryans are indroducing hinduism to the Indian people. Aryyans were created many stories, to keep belive their activities. Because, due to this activities (divide and rule) everywhere, the world country keep off from their country. so this time Aryans are plan to stay in Indian continent permanantly, for that reason they tried to do in human activities against innocent indian publics. Still it is continuing!

Cheated? Disagree at least in part.

An interesting article here states that "Cro-Magnon" is now incorrect, while Early Modern Human is correct, meaning Eurasian and African ancestors are not distinguished. Yet, evidence points to East Africa as the source of civilization flowing north--long before any "Aryan invasion" flowing south. Just as people of color (like the civilized Indus Valley people?) regain their heritage and African history is no longer "static" ...race is no longer an issue?

Everybody came from Africa

I have a theory actually proof (based on fossils) that Everybody came from Africa, even Dravidian and Aryans. So, why bother that who came first and who later. This mother earth belongs to everybody despite race, color or creed. Anyway, we ourselves divided humanity into religion, race and nationality.

Invasion OR migration is true

The 'Aryan' or 'Indo-European' peoples most definitely did exist in antiquity as a race with distinct culture. Their homeland is most likely the Caspian-Ural mountains region or modern Eastern Ukraine region. The reason why complex evidence is minimal is because these peoples were low in population and semi-nomadic originally. Probably due to climate changes, the vast majority of Aryans migrated west into Europe and mainly settled in the south coastal areas because the north was still covered in ice. A minority migrated south into the Iranian plateau and founded Persia, from here the Persians influenced heavily the Mesopotamian civilizations and the Indus civilizations. After time, they were assimilated with the local populations but their culture and DNA survives in modern India. Genetic tests have proven that northern Indians share the same genetic markers with populations in Europe. Now it may not have been an 'invasion' but there was certainly a migration and influence.

The Makers of Civilization -Waddell

waddell writes that "biologists have conclusively shown that civilization is fundamentally conditioned by a superior quality of race, and that in the classic Greek period civilization reached its zenith under the Aryan or Nordic Race (which still forms a leading element in the foremost European nation to-day [1929] ; and that it waned and became practically extinct in later Greece with the weaking of that racial element." Waddell further urged, quite forcefully indeed, that "the missing elementary knowledge as to the origin, names and personalities, home, race and date of those originators of creative genius who invented, established and first developed and propagated civilization over the world, is now offered in these pages from arresting new discoveries of concrete contemporary history from documents revealed by the spade on the horizon of written history." Is Waddell wrong? Is his translation not correct? What of his offering of proff? Is it not conclusive? If not, why is it not

Aryan Invasion theory wrong

Nowhere in ancient Indian historical records is mentioned Aryan as any kind of race or dynasty."Arya" was simply a Sanskrit word meaning "noble" or one with good qualities & was used to refer the Kshatriya Kings of Suryavanshi and Chandravanshi dynasties of ancient Vedic civilization.Hence Aryan invasion theory is only a myth propogated by historians like Max Muller to mislead the people.

History as Propaganda

one must always consider the objective/bias of the teller. Many cultures disappear over time, leaving no language, no story. Personally, as an anthropologist, I find "Aryan" invasion preposterous. Until the time Hitler needed this, there is no other historical note of Ayran's. IF they existed in the steppes some trace of them & their civilization would have been found. Some traces of their rampages in India would have also been found & recorded. Revisionist history abounds, do not be fooled by tales, only scientific evidence can be the source of true proof of existence. The details proove the existence - not the telling of tales. India has given us much but certainly not Hitler's demons.

I agree

Aryan Invasion theory is a proven fact. I read many saying that the sestern historians have had their axes to grind about claiming the A.I. theory. Let them remember that it's the west that first uncovered the past history of India. Our Brahminical elite knew nothing ebout our past. They had buried everything and they forgot what they did. All ancient history, Ashoka, Indus Valley civilization, Sanskrit heritage and its link to Latin and Greek, etc. etc. were all unearthed by westerners. The proofs for an Arayan invasion and takeover of the land called Meluha a a dime a dozen. Non readers of history or dishonest elite of the cunning priestly calsss like everywhere else have created the myth that ARYAN INVASION theoty is a myth. They have lost their plot.

Aryan Invasion is factual

I disagree. There was an Aryan invasion suddenly or in phases. Linguistics, language families, race traits, Dravidian language spread, subsequent lack of any civilizational growth, caste system etc. clearly point to a superior racial conquest and enslavement. The opponents sof the the Aryan Invasion theory are the Aryan elite and is a political conspiracy to sweep the dirt under the carpet.
